Board & Train

Vertex K9 Board & Train program is designed for all of your dog training needs from puppy training to severe behavior modification. In this program your dog learns all basic on and off leash obedience, as well as addressing any of the following behavioral issues:

* Jumping
* Chewing
* Digging
* Potty Training
* Crate Training
* Leash manners
* Barking
* Counter Surfing
* Anxiety
* Fear
* Hyperactivity
* Aggression

Our program is unique in that your dog does not stay in a stressful kennel environment, but instead they live in one of our trainer’s home. The length of stay is determined in an evaluation, with the minimum stay being 18 days for full on and off leash obedience. Starts at $2450.

**For dogs younger than 6 months old, the program can be split into two 12 day stays. First on leash obedience at 3-4 months old, then off leash obedience at 6 months old.

Immersion

Vertex K9 Immersion program is similar to our Board & Train program, but you get your dog back for the weekend. Your dog lives with one of our trainers Monday to Friday, and on Friday is brought home. You are given a lesson on what they learned that week for you to work on while they’re home for the weekend.

The Immersion program can be used for any mild to moderate behavior issues. For severe issues such as anxiety and aggression, it can be combined with a Board & Train program when recommended by the trainer.

The minimum length for an Immersion program is 3 weeks. Starts at $2350

Private Lessons

Vertex K9 Private Lessons are conducted where the issues are – either in your home or out in public. Private lessons are on a limited availability basis. The biggest difference between lessons and our other training programs, is that we are training you, not your dog. Each week we will teach you something new, and the progress is solely dependent on you completing your homework.

Private lessons can be used to address any mild to moderate behaviors including:

* Digging
* Potty Training
* Crate Training
* Leash manners
* Barking
* Counter Surfing

The number of lessons needed will be determined in an evaluation and are offered on a limited availability basis. $135-150/lesson.

Training Booster

Sometimes with behavioral issues, private lessons alone just don’t quite cut it. Or sometimes you need just a little extra help. Training boosters are designed specifically to meet your need and situation. During a training booster, the trainer takes your dog for anywhere from 2-4 hours to work on something specific. Price varies.

Dog Walking

Wish your dog could burn some constructive energy while your working? Well they can. Our dog walking service doesn’t just get your dog some exercise though, we also work on leash manners during the walk.

30 min walk – $25
45 min walk – $35

Boarding

Boarding is offered only to clients that have completed a minimum of basic on leash training. Ability to board is determined by a trial day, and dogs must be kennel trained already in order to board.

1 dog – $65/day
2 dogs – $100/day
3 dogs – $125/day
